Henrico nurse charged with abusing baby is granted release from jail

The nurse charged with abusing a newborn at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital is being released from jail.

A Henrico County judge granted bond to Erin Strotman on Wednesday, after her lawyer submitted a mental health evaluation that he said determined she is not a risk to herself or others.
