Historic Virginia Sites Added to America 250 Booklet

You don’t need a US Passport to visit historic sites in our area. But there is another passport that you might find helpful.

To celebrate America’s 250^th anniversary in 2026, several historic Virginia destinations have launched the Virginia 250 Passport which serves as a travel guide, discount book and keepsake.  The 64-page commemorative booklet features descriptions of the 70 participating museums and historic sites across the commonwealth.  Local participating sites include Menokin, Stratford Hall, Historic Christ Church & Museum, Deltaville Maritime Museum and Gloucester Museum of History.  The Virginia 250 Passport program runs thru Dec 31 2026.
