Objects, Art, and More and the Writers Guild of Virginia are pleased to announce retired professor and author W.J. Haynie will be signing his new novel, Justice in Alabama?, on March 8th.

The signing will take place at Objects, Art, and More from noon to 4 p.m. Objects houses fine art, paintings, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, glass, wood, and metal sculpture from a wide variety of artists and genres. This event will be a unique opportunity for readers to not only get their books signed but also to meet the author in person, browse the store, and support a small business. Haynie will be available to chat with readers.

Haynie has published seven textbooks including Electricity and Electronics Today and Basic Electricity for Installers, over thirty research articles, and four press articles. He taught university-level technical subjects such as construction, electronics, metals, graphics, and design as well as methodology for teachers. Haynie’s novel is his first foray into creative writing.

Haynie currently is the Music Director at Irvington United Methodist Church. He also cantors and plays organ at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Kilmarnock.

The multitalented Haynie enjoys sailing, playing the organ, weaving, fixing clocks, model trains, serious Bible study, and reading.
