Lisa Vedernikova Khanna is ending her campaign to represent Virginia’s 1st Congressional District.
She had been seeking the Democratic party nomination to challenge Rep. Rob Wittman, R-1st.
Khanna, former president of the Metro Richmond Area Young Democrats, was the second of nine people to tell the Federal Election Commission they were seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge Wittman. Two others have since suspended their campaigns.
