Virginia lawmakers have approved a measure that decreases the authority of the president of Virginia Commonwealth University at the VCU Health System.
On Tuesday, the House of Delegates and the Senate unanimously approved nearly identical bills that would create a new chief executive officer position and require certain expertise among VCU Health board members.
