A New Kent County man died Sunday after the car he was driving struck a tree in Hanover County.
The Hanover Sheriff’s Office said James Kvaternik, 56, of New Kent County, was driving a 2011 Ford Escape west on Mechanicsville Turnpike near the King William County line at around 11 a.m. when the car ran off the road.
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
