The NNK250 Signature Speaker Series continues this Sunday April 14 at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern in Heathsville.
Dr. Julie King of St. Mary’s College will present ”Finding Leedstown: What Archaeology Reveals about this Remarkable Place.” This is the 3rd of 5 events and begins at 2pm Sunday. All are free and open to everyone. The NNK250 Coalition is comprised of representatives from dozens of organizations from the Northern Neck and was formed in 2022 for planning and facilitating commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
