They might have thought they’d been elected last month – but the victors in this year’s statewide and House of Delegates races didn’t actually win until Monday.
The State Board of Elections made it official, after a three-minute presentation and vote and then the signing by all five board members of 104 certificates of election – a process that took a lot longer.
