The older brother of Irvo Otieno has filed a lawsuit against the hospital where Otieno stayed for several hours in the throes of a mental health crisis. The hospital was later faulted by investigators for failing to adequately treat him.
The suit seeks $25 million and alleges willful or wanton negligence on behalf of hospital staff.
