Rep. Bobby Scott, D-3rd, senior member of Virginia’s congressional delegation, announced Monday he is endorsing state Sen. Aaron Rouse, D-Virginia Beach, in the June 17 Democratic primary for lieutenant governor.
Scott is the only federal official representing Virginia to make an endorsement in the race.
