The city of Richmond does not expect to choose a team to redevelop the Coliseum until after Mayor Levar Stoney’s term ends on Dec. 31, missing the administration’s goal.
That means the work will be done after Mayor-elect Danny Avula takes office on Jan. 1. Avula indicated he will not select the developer himself, saying he has confidence in the city’s staff to get the work done.
