A second injured hiker has been rescued by a helicopter from Shenandoah National Park, nearly 24 hours after another rescue nearby.
Virginia State Police’s Med-Flight 1 helicopter was requested for the rescue of a teenage girl who was hiking from Devil’s Marble Yard in Rockbridge County. This region is a remote hiking area, and the girl had been hurt.
