A Senate committee adjusted the congressional maps proposed in a pending budget bill and added language to accelerate Virginia’s re-entry into the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative on Tuesday, as the Democratic-controlled General Assembly pushes to get a constitutional amendment on redistricting to Virginia voters on April 21 in time for midterm elections in November.
