Spotsylvania County authorities on Wednesday were searching for a woman who they said murdered three of her roommates on Tuesday before fleeing the scene.
The victims were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
Sheriff’s deputies identified Alyssa Jane Venable, 23, of Spotsylvania, as a suspect in what they called a “heinous crime.”
Details related to the nature of the crime as well as the identities of the suspect are being withheld as detectives investigate and work to notify next of kin.
