Skill games firm Queen of Virginia and a retailer who hosts the games have sued to block an investigation by Attorney General Jason Miyares and his finding that its new Pace-o-Matic machines are illegal gaming devices.

The lawsuit also seeks to block Henrico Commonwealth’s Attorney Shannon Taylor from enforcing a state ban on skill games. Queen of Virginia has argued that the ban does not apply to the devices it launched this summer after Gov. Glenn Youngkin vetoed legislation to legalize skill games.
