The Virginia Department of Education still has not released all of the teaching materials for the state’s new history and social sciences standards, although the state superintendent said the department would release them last week.
The state’s new history standards are set to go into effect this fall, and teachers do not have nine of the 13 instructional guides, which are the foundation of how educators teach.
