Virginia Gov. Spanberger says consumption tax on data centers being discussed

With the House of Delegates and the state Senate at loggerheads over a $1.9 billion tax break for data centers, Gov. Abigail Spanberger is floating a new idea for ensuring data centers pay their fair share of the costs they impose on other Virginians: a consumption tax.
