The House of Delegates and state Senate are presenting a united front in pending budget negotiations with Gov. Glenn Youngkin, urging more than $1 billion in tax relief for Virginia taxpayers and proposing one-time rebates for all, regardless of how much they earn or where they live.

The General Assembly budget committees also propose one-time bonuses for state employees and teachers in their revised spending proposals.
