State Senate Democrats‘ battle with Gov. Glenn Youngkin over college and university boards entered a new phase Thursday as a key Senate committee derailed a new round of Youngkin’s appointees.
The Privileges and Elections Committee rejected six Youngkin appointees to the George Mason University Board of Visitors, four appointees to the University of Virginia Board and four appointees to the Virginia Military Institute board.
