KING WILLIAM, Va. – At approximately 1:20 p.m., Virginia State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 4000 block of Etna Mills Road in King William County that resulted in two fatalities.
A 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Kayeley Elizabeth Williams, 33, of Mechanicsville, ran off the road and overturned into a pond. Both Williams and her daughter, age 4, succumbed to their injuries at the scene. They were wearing their seatbelts and the child was properly restrained in a child seat.
The crash remains under investigation.
