Gov. Glenn Youngkin on Thursday announced a budget proposal to allocate $448 million annually toward child care support for working families.
The governor’s proposal, the “Building Blocks for Virginia’s Families” plan, aims to create capacity for 300,000 children, an effort to help working parents and parents who are looking for work.
