Gov. Glenn Youngkin on Friday rolled out a proposed spending boost for K-12 education that he said would raise state spending on direct aid to public schools to $22 billion over the two-year budget.
On Wednesday, the governor will meet with the legislature’s money committees and formally introduce his proposed amendments to the state’s existing two-year, $187.5 billion budget.
