Three big pools of money are the key to Gov. Glenn Youngkin‘s hope he can persuade the General Assembly to go along with budget amendments that remove the legislature’s politically risky move of increasing taxes.
Youngkin this week proposed a package of amendments to the General Assembly budget. The heart of his amendments is an effort to remove an expansion of the state sales tax to digital services and business-to-business dealings.
