The General Assembly has effectively killed legislation to enact Gov. Glenn Youngkin‘s proposed tax plan this year, leaving the governor’s last hope with the budget he introduced in December.
The Senate Finance & Appropriations Committee on Tuesday carried over the tax plan until next year to allow study by a joint subcommittee on tax policy.
