Various organizations that provide resources for crime victims around Virginia are supporting proposed budget amendments from Del. Karrie Delaney, D-Fairfax and Sen. Barbara Favola, D-Arlington.
The Northern Virginia lawmakers are requesting $30 million be earmarked in Virginia’s next budget to create the Put Victims First Fund that the Department of Criminal Justice Services can administer.
