CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The Virginia High School League Foundation’s annual captain’s choice golf tournament, held Monday, April 22, at the prestigious Spring Creek Golf Club in Zion Crossroads, Va., a Top 100 American Public Golf Course ranked by Golf Digest, is nearly sold out. Only seven slots remain for a team of four or single participants.

The VHSL Foundation Charity Golf Tournament benefits 190,000 students participating yearly in VHSL athletics and academic activities. The Foundation supports VHSL-sponsored programs with approximately $90,000 in yearly grants. Additionally, the Foundation is the title sponsor for the VHSL Foundation Achievement Award, which awards $2,000 annual individual scholarships to 19 scholar-athletes and academic participants pursuing post-high school academic degrees and training programs.
