Christchurch School is pleased to announce that Tim Cloud has been named Head Coach of the school’s lacrosse program.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead this program. The tradition and community are truly special. I can’t wait to get to work building something our players, alumni, and school can be proud of. More than anything, I’m excited to develop young men of character, leadership, and purpose through the game of lacrosse”
Coach Cloud spent the last 4 years as the Senior Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Washington College in Chestertown, MD. While in Chestertown, he also was a co-founder of Shore Lacrosse Camps, providing camps, clinics, and lessons to local players on the eastern shore of Maryland. Before Washington College, he coached at True Lacrosse in Illinois, Lees-McRae College, and Asheville School.
Cloud is a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC, where he was a three time all conference long pole midfielder. He helped lead the Royals to a conference championship in 2014, and the program’s first ever NCAA tournament berth. Cloud graduated with a school record in games started, starting 60 out of 61 career games. He returned to Queens as a coach following graduation. Coach Cloud graduated from Severna Park High School in Maryland, where he was part of the 2010 3A/4A State Championship Team.
