NAACP Essex Branch has invited the candidates running this November for Essex County Board of Supervisors and School Board to participate in this event on Tuesday, September 23, 6–8pm at First Baptist Church, 415 Marsh St, Tappahannock. Each candidate will have a timed opportunity to introduce themselves and share their platforms and visions followed by questions from the audience. The Board of Supervisors candidates will start out the first hour followed by the School Board candidates in the second hour. County residents will have an opportunity to better inform their vote this fall which will be critical to the future of all citizens in our Essex County community. All are welcome.
