Needy Virginians began receiving federal food assistance again on Thursday, but not everyone in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program got the 65% of their monthly benefit they had expected.
Middlesex County Social Services Director Rebecca Morgan confirmed “widespread reports that some clients, for whatever reason, did not get any benefits at all or that the amount didn’t meet 65% of the total.”
