One of the General Assembly’s most vocal advocates for help for foster care kids has filed a bill to launch a first step toward sweeping reform of Virginia’s faltering system for abused and neglected children.
House Bill 266, filed by Del. Anne Ferrell Tata, R-Virginia Beach, would set up a centralized intake system for reports of child abuse or neglect and for determining if those reports are valid.
