UPDATE: As of April 2, 2026 the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for homes on Cralle Ave. in Tappahannock. Served By the Town Of Tappahannock Water System.
The Boil Water Advisory was issued on March 31, 2026 after a water main break.
A series of bacteriological samples were collected and sent to a state certified lab. All samples collected on March 31, 2026 and April 1, 2026 were absent of both total coliform and E. coli bacteria in the area where the Boil Water Advisory is currently being lifted.
Following flushing the service line and premise plumbing, residents can safely resume normal use of their tap water.
