Gov. Abigail Spanberger declined an invitation from former Gov. George Allen to debate him on the upcoming referendum on congressional redistricting.
Allen, a Republican who served as Virginia governor in the late ’90s and as a U.S. Senator from 2001 to 2007, said Virginians deserve to hear both sides.
