The measles outbreak in Buckingham County has expanded into neighboring Cumberland County, the state health department said Thursday.
There have been 106 cases related to this outbreak, but officials have not said how many have occurred in Cumberland. Altogether, there have been 129 cases of measles this year in the state, likely the highest figure in decades. About 1 in 20 patients have required hospitalization, and none have died.
