Virginians set the contenders for November’s high-stakes races for control of Congress in Tuesday’s primaries, voting to ask Henrico Commonwealth’s Attorney Shannon Taylor to flip a seat Democrats have targeted.
Taylor won the Democratic nomination to challenge Rep. Rob Wittman.
Turnout was low. With almost all votes in, only 7% of the district’s 611,808 active registered voters cast ballots.
