Blue Ridge Bankshares Inc., the Charlottesville based parent company of Henrico based Blue Ridge Bank, has agreed to merge with North Carolina based HomeTrust Bancshares in a deal valued at about $448.1 million.
The proposed deal would bring Blue Ridge Bank into HomeTrust Bank, creating a regional bank with more than $7 billion in assets and more than 60 locations across the Southeast. Blue Ridge shareholders would receive HomeTrust stock in exchange for their shares, and the companies expect the transaction to close in early 2027.
