The Commonwealth will graduate its 145th generation of Virginia State Troopers this Friday August 21st. The 45 new troopers will receive their diplomas during commencement exercises at 10 a.m. at the State Police Training Academy in North Chesterfield County. Upon graduation, the new troopers will report to their individual duty assignments across Virginia. Locally, Andrea Shetler who is from Oregon has been assigned to Essex, Northumberland and Lancaster counties. And Victor Montes who is from Gloucester has been assigned to Gloucester, Middlesex and Matthews counties.
