Objects, Art, and More and the Writers Guild of Virginia are pleased to announce Eastern Shore author Jeff Tanner will have his first book signing in the Northern Neck at Objects in Irvington, Va. on October 10th from noon to 4:00 p.m. Tanner, a retired Dean at Old Dominion University, will be signing his debut novel, The King’s Collar. His second novel, Dolls, will be published in December 2026. Both books are mysteries set in 1929 Boston.
At ODU, Tanner wrote and hosted a daily radio show on WHRO, The Strome Business Minute. He currently serves as Chair, Virginia’s Racing Commission, overseeing horse racing. Jeff is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, the Muse, and the Writers’ Guild of Virginia.
Currently, Tanner, his wife Karen, and their four-pound Maltese, Boo, live in a Colonial-era home on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
For crime enthusiasts, this is an excellent chance to meet and talk with mystery writer. The event is also opportunity to browse Object’s high quality, exceptional art gallery and support a local business.
