FREDERICKSBURG – Additional evenings of work have been scheduled to complete bridge cleaning on the Robert O. Norris, Jr., Bridge.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane overnight in the work zone between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on dates work is scheduled.
Route 3 over the Rappahannock River, between Lancaster County and Middlesex County (Norris Bridge)
- 7 p.m. – 6 a.m. nightly, for three consecutive nights.
- Monday, Oct. 20 – Wednesday, Oct. 22, ending early Thursday, Oct. 23.
Automatic flagging assistance devices, operated by certified flagging crews, will direct one-way, alternating traffic through the work zone. Crews will alternate lanes as they progress across the structure.
