Richmond Mayor Danny Avula said he is confident Virginia Commonwealth University’s baseball team will play at CarMax Park, even though it has been more than a year since negotiations began.
Though CarMax Park is set to host its first minor league baseball game April 7, work outside the stadium is delayed, and a financial dispute concerning ballpark construction costs has emerged.
