The Buc-ee’s planned for New Kent County is getting pushed back again, with the county giving the Texas-based travel center until the end of 2029 to meet the terms of its economic incentive agreement.
The New Kent County Board of Supervisors voted Monday to extend its performance agreement with Buc-ee’s to Dec. 31, 2029. The agreement can be extended again if construction of a major highway project tied to the development is delayed.
