The bus driver charged in connection with a May 29 crash that killed five people in Stafford County might get out of jail on bond, but he won’t be able to go home.
Jing Sheng Dong, 48, of Staten Island, New York, was granted a $25,000 secured bond at the end of a hearing on Wednesday in Stafford Circuit Court. But Judge Charlie Clark’s ruling came with multiple conditions, including one forbidding him from leaving Virginia.
Dong, who remains in a wheelchair as a result of injuries he suffered in the fatal crash, is charged with reckless driving and five counts of involuntary manslaughter.
