Charges against a man accused of setting Danville City Council member Lee Vogler on fire advanced to the next judicial process after a court proceeding Tuesday morning.
Danville General District Judge Greg Haymore certified the charges of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated malicious wounding against Shotsie Michael Buck-Hayes, 29, to the grand jury, which will decide if there’s enough evidence to sustain an indictment.
