Christchurch School is pleased to announce that four-year senior Blake Berry has committed to play soccer for the Randolph-Macon College Yellow Jackets in Ashland, VA.
Blake announced his intention at a signing ceremony held at Christchurch School on Friday, February 21. Blake’s CCS teammates, coaches, advisor, and family were present for the celebration.
Blake was named Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) Division II 2024 Soccer Player-of-the-Year in the fall, and was co-captain of the team which won the 2024 VISAA Division II State Soccer Championship. Blake was also a member of the team when it won the championship in the fall of 2022.
Blake is the son of Jonathan and Lauren Berry of St. Stephens Church, VA. He is a Navigator (the school’s admission hospitality team), a prefect, and a member of the National Honor Society. Blake is on the school’s varsity boys basketball team, and is an honor roll student.
