Dominion Energy‘s latest 15-year plan calls for big increases in all its main ways of generating electricity.
It proposes a 130% increase over its planned offshore wind capacity, a 150% increase in solar, six small nuclear reactors and a 70% increase in its gas-fired power plants.
Paying for all of this would boost a benchmark monthly residential bill for 1,000 kilowatt-hours from the current $142.77 to $214.24 in 2039.
