Dominion Energy is seeking rate increases that would boost a benchmark monthly bill by 13.9% next year.
Its proposed increase in its base rate for 2026 – the first base rate increase since 1992 – would add $8.51 to a benchmark $140 monthly bill for 1,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity.
