Early voting locations in Southwest Virginia, which was hit hard by Hurricane Helene last weekend, are up and running after a few setbacks.
Although all voting locations are open, it’s unclear what effects the storm’s aftermath will have on early voting turnout.
The number pf people who voted early did not significantly drop the week after the storm in Southwest Virginia localities compared with the week prior, according to data from the Virginia Public Access Project.
