Real Estate and Personal Property taxes for the 2nd half of 2024 are due for Essex County on or before December 5, 2024.

You can pay in person at 321 Prince Street, by mail to P.O. Box 489, Tappahannock, VA 22560 or use the mail slot located in the front door.

Taxes may also be paid online at the website of www.essexva.gov. A 2.95% convenience fee will be applied if paid by debit or credit card and a $1.95 flat fee if paid by e-check.
