Route 3 travelers should expect overnight delays at the Robert O. Norris, Jr., Bridge next week. On Sunday, April 13 through Thursday, April 17, crews will use automatic flagging devices to alternate one-way traffic through the work zone for spot structural steel repairs. Weather permitting, nighttime work will occur each evening between 7 p.m. – 6 a.m. Please check 511.vdot.virginia.gov for the latest updates. An additional week of overnight lane closures was required for crews to finish taking measurements on the bridge for this maintenance project.
