A father and his 6-year-old son are dead after a fishing trip to the Rappahannock River, where both of them tragically drowned.
Initial reports suggest that the son had just caught a fish when he fell off the dock and into the water. His father, Danny Sumner, jumped in after him in an attempt to save him, but drowned himself in the process.
