A former nurse at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital who was accused of abusing newborn babies will be found guilty at a plea hearing next week, her lawyer said Thursday.
Erin Strotman, who was charged with 20 felony counts of child abuse and malicious wounding, will plead guilty or no contest to several charges as part of an agreement with prosecutors, said lawyer Jeffrey Everhart. Strotman, who previously worked at the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit, had been scheduled to go to trial in February.
